Edible Himalayan Salts

​It is believed that The Himalayan Pink Salt is the purest form of salt. It is an edible product that is used to add flavor and to make dishes presentable. This salt is extracted from the salt mines present in the Himalayan Mountain Ranges, hence the name. These rock salt ranges are believed to be over 250 million years old and they formed when oceans and bodies of water got trapped beneath the earth’s crust during massive geological changes. The rich natural minerals present in Himalayan Salt are known to stimulate circulation, relax the body, lower blood pressure, soothe sore muscles, and remove toxins from the body.

Himalayan Salt in coarse grain salt has a comparatively rough texture and larger grains from that of fine grain salt. The coarse crystals can also be put inside a salt grinder and directly milled onto dishes for a fresh flavor.
